Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Archbold Medical Center. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support services in a fast-paced geriatric setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide basic patient care skills, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Possess the ability to learn basic computer skills and work effectively in a team environment
• Maintain good physical and mental health, with the ability to lift, bend, pull, and push, using good body mechanics, without limitations
• Possess visual acuity with corrective lenses to read printed material and visualize patients to the degree that changes in color or respirations can be detected; hearing ability with auditory aids to understand the normal speaking voice without viewing the speaker; and speaking ability to ask and answer pertinent questions and relay information
• Demonstrate the ability to wear properly fitting respiratory protective mask for periods of time without limitations

Requirements:
• High School Graduate or GED and completion of a Nursing Assistant Program
• Current certification in Basic Life Support
• Ability to work under stressful conditions
• Entry-level experience preferred
