Infant Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Infant Teacher to join our Guidepost Montessori team at Evanston. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters independence, exploration, and growth in our infant students.

As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Observing and understanding the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of each child
• Preparing a beautiful and orderly environment that promotes trust, exploration, and deep learning
• Cultivating independence and self-confidence in children by encouraging them to 'do it all by themselves'
• Forming personal connections with each child and fostering a community of respect
• Communicating and collaborating with parents to provide the best possible care for every child
