Key Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive health and medical histories, perform thorough physical assessments, and interpret diagnostic tests/results to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a supervising physician and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care to patients within your scope of practice.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines to ensure the highest quality care.
- Develop and lead educational programs to promote patient and family-centered care, as well as community outreach initiatives to improve health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) in the state of North Carolina.
- Board certification, if required by the Department.
- DEA certification.
