YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT:
As a Maintenance Technician in a production and warehousing setting, you will be essential in maintaining the functionality of machinery, equipment, and facilities. Your technical skills will enable you to oversee maintenance tasks, resolve intricate issues, and enhance the overall productivity and dependability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on various manufacturing machinery and conveyor systems.
- Identify and rectify complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems to reduce downtime and boost equipment reliability.
- Formulate and execute predictive maintenance plans to optimize equipment functionality.
- Assist in facility upkeep, including repairs, plumbing, lighting, and other essential infrastructure.
- Establish and refine preventive maintenance schedules to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for equipment and system failures using advanced diagnostic methods.
- Perform root cause analysis to pinpoint underlying issues and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel, production teams, and other departments to effectively prioritize and address maintenance requirements.
- Provide mentorship to junior technicians, promoting a culture of ongoing learning and development.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and performance metrics.
- Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance expenses, and suggested improvements for management review.
- Assist in managing spare parts inventory, ensuring critical components are available and optimizing stock levels to minimize downtime.
- Work with procurement to identify and acquire necessary parts and materials.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, actively fostering a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Engage in safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
