Pharmacy Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Pharmacist to provide exceptional patient care in our retail pharmacy setting at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for helping others, and a commitment to providing the highest level of service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects.
• Manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary medications.
• Monitor patient medication therapies to prevent drug interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements:
• Prior experience preferred in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Valid NC pharmacist license.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy software and electronic health records.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform minor physical tasks.

Work Schedule:
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm, with varying shifts.
