Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at ProMach. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in expediting the flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in staging label production orders and ensure timely delivery to meet customer demands.
  • Review sales orders, run sheets, and notes to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety processes and hazardous material requirements.
  • Return stock label materials to designated areas and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Move completed label orders to staging and through to shipping, ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and packaged.
  • Responsible for inventory management, including part numbers, balances, reports, and physical inventory, under the direction of the Assistant Production Manager.
  • Accurately record shipping and receiving data, including tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
  • Receive and unpack materials and supplies, inspecting them for damage or discrepancies.
  • Report any damages or discrepancies to accounting, reimbursement, and record-keeping purposes.
  • Operate appropriate machinery, including forklifts, handtrucks, and tier lift trucks, to move, convey, and hoist shipments to and from shipping and receiving platforms.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • Some experience with shipping, receiving, purchasing, and inventory management.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and other information.
  • Mathematical skills and ability to use a calculator.
  • Experience with MS Office, Excel, and ability to perform specific shipping and receiving exercises in relevant software or ERP system.
  • Ability to stand regularly and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.
