Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at ServiceMaster Commercial Maintenance Systems. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our customers, their employees, and students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
  • Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
  • Opens and locks facilities, enables and disables security systems as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper (plus is not required).
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work at a fast-paced and multi-tasked job.
  • Pleasant attitude and ability to contribute to a positive work climate.
