Your role is vital to our mission. As a Certified CT Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will:
- Prepare patients for CT imaging procedures, ensuring clarity about the process and maintaining high technical standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development to meet educational requirements.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively within the Imaging Department.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and students.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill departmental needs.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.) with a focus on CT.
- Current registration with the Texas Medical Board.
- Experience in CT imaging, with a minimum of one year for PRN roles.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
