Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with direct patient care procedures, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and medication administration.
- Support the unit manager, professional staff, and physicians in providing patient care focused on the needs of the patient.
- Meet the comfort and hygiene needs of patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with completion of patient testing and treatment procedures, including setting up and priming IV tubing, 12 lead ECG, and simple tracheostomy suctioning and care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient, employee, and department information to ensure patient rights.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
- Less than one year of previous job-related experience required; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA required.
