Key Duties: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing expertise in recovery-oriented practices for chronic pain management, utilizing a biopsychosocial approach.
  • Employing non-surgical treatment options, including non-narcotic medications and non-pharmacological therapies.
  • Preferred experience with office-based procedures such as joint injections or ultrasound/EMG guided injections.
  • Providing support to various clinics, including Pain Medicine and PM&RS, and conducting consultations as necessary.
  • Delivering patient care across multiple settings, including outpatient, subacute, and inpatient environments.
  • Communicating risks, benefits, and alternative treatment options to patients and obtaining informed consent prior to any invasive procedures.
  • Assessing patient progress and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and improve functional outcomes.
