Dermatology Associates of Concord is a leading Physician-owned dermatology practice dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. With 14 providers and offices in Concord, Cambridge, and Waltham, we specialize in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, offering a comprehensive range of services to meet the diverse needs of our community.

The phototherapy technician is responsible for the treatment of Psoriasis, Eczema, Vitiligo, as well as other photo-responsive skin conditions. This role requires a high level of responsibility, excellent assessment and communication skills, and the ability to accurately calculate dosages and evaluate dosimetry of lights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives and records results and ensures that patient records are properly maintained and that charts are updated promptly.
• Forwards medical records/visit notes to physician providers for signature.
• Evaluates the patient each visit for side effects and possible changes in health/medication and makes dosage adjustments accordingly.
• Provides a therapeutic listening environment for patients dealing with their skin disease.

This position requires a strong understanding of math and the ability to accurately calculate percentage increases of doses. The phototherapy technician must also be able to plan patient follow-up and ask for guidance from the supervising MD when needed.
