Apprentice Electrician

The AT Electricians JAC of Ithaca LU #241 is seeking a skilled Electrician Apprentice to join their team. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including power distribution and control systems.
• Work under the supervision of experienced electricians to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
• Develop skills in electrical trades, including wiring, circuit analysis, and electrical code compliance.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a strong foundation in mathematics and science.
• Must be physically able to perform the work required, as determined by a physical exam.
• Must pass a drug/alcohol screening.
• Must be willing and able to commute to any jobsite within the geographical jurisdiction of Local #241.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in electrical trades or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
