Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Senior Living Communities. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and quality of life are preserved.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and transferring.
  • Provide dining assistance, including escorting, transferring, and serving meals.
  • Assist with housekeeping services, including bed making, trash removal, and laundry.
  • Lead and assist with life enrichment activities, such as crafts, games, and daily pleasures.
  • Escort residents to scheduled programming and participate in outings and day trips.
  • Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
  • Participate in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
Requirements
  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid
  • Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position is very active and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The individual must use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living.

This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work.
