Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity

Ensign Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Rio Vista Post Acute in Peoria, AZ. As a member of our in-house therapy team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Effectively screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders.
  • Evaluate treatment outcomes and modify services as needed.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
  • Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy.

Requirements:
  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
