Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Podiatrist to provide care for patients in designated areas. The Podiatrist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and lower legs. Responsibilities include performing surgical procedures, prescribing orthotic devices, and applying therapeutic interventions for ailments such as arthritis, fractures, and skin conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose foot and ankle disorders, including bunions, corns, fungal infections, gait abnormalities, and more.
  • Refer patients to other medical specialists when necessary for severe health concerns.
  • Create custom orthotics through foot casting.
  • Recommend corrective footwear and braces to address gait and balance challenges.
  • Advise patients on preventive foot care strategies.
  • Provide diabetic foot care, including nail care, callus removal, and ulcer treatment.
  • Utilize advanced podiatric techniques to address deformities and health issues.
  • Prescribe medications for joint pain relief and mobility enhancement.
  • Review and assess patients' medical histories.
  • Order diagnostic tests to support accurate diagnosis when needed.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine.
  • In-depth knowledge of therapeutic and surgical options for lower extremity conditions.
  • Familiarity with a variety of foot-related issues, including congenital deformities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse age groups.
  • Demonstrated empathy and patience in dealing with patients facing serious health challenges.
  • Current with the latest advancements in podiatric care.
  • Willingness to travel to various health center locations.

Compensation

Annual salary of $150,000.
