Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our team at Truck with Jed Logistics. This position involves transporting freight primarily in the eastern regions of the country.

Incentives:

$5000 Sign-On Bonus available for eligible drivers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate flatbed trucks
  • Handle automatic transmission vehicles
  • Enjoy weekends at home
  • Earn an average of 27% of the load
  • Weekly earnings typically range from $1200 to $1600+
  • Participate in tarping for 40% to 50% of loads
  • Experience non-forced and flexible dispatch
  • Drive an average of miles per week
  • Transport no-touch freight
  • Utilize Freightliners and T680's
  • Haul aluminum coils, pipe, steel, and construction materials
  • Must have a clean drug test history

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of over-the-road experience, including 6 months of flatbed driving within the last 5 years
  • Local driving experience is not applicable
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
  • Maximum of 6 jobs in the last 3 years
  • Only 1 'At Fault' accident permitted in the past 3 years
  • 1 DOT Preventable Accident allowed within the last year
  • Most terminations will be reviewed unless related to safety or drug issues
  • No DUI/DWI offenses in the past 3 years
  • Urine drug screening is mandatory
  • Criminal history will be evaluated
