We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator RN to join our team at Methodist Hospital.

About the Role

This role involves measuring, analyzing, and presenting reports on healthcare processes and patient outcomes to identify areas for improvement. You will coordinate performance improvement activities focused on specific patient service lines or nursing/medical and/or organizational quality initiatives.

  • Facilitate sentinel event investigations and root cause analysis activities to reduce risk and increase patient safety.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management on correspondence related to quality of care issues from outside the organization.
  • Participate in efforts to establish and maintain organizational readiness to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or related healthcare degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
  • Prior experience in quality management, regulatory compliance, TQM/CQI training and experience is preferred.
