Customer Service Specialist in Optical Retail

Role Overview:
As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a vital role in assisting our patients while collaborating closely with the Doctor and Office Manager. Your contributions will help ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver outstanding customer service to attract and retain clients.
• Welcome customers warmly and provide clear explanations of our processes.
• Aid patients in selecting eyewear, ensuring proper fitting and dispensing.
• Address visual challenges and provide tailored solutions.
• Manage customer transactions efficiently during purchases.
• Strive for excellence by ensuring patient satisfaction from the first interaction.
• Guide customers in choosing frames and lenses that align with their vision, lifestyle, and budget.
• Support fellow associates with complex customer needs and prescriptions.
• Perform precise measurements and adjustments for eyewear, ensuring accuracy.
• Communicate any office-related issues to the Office Manager.
• Execute tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.

Qualifications:
• One to two years of experience in a related field.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong verbal communication skills for prioritizing tasks and handling inquiries.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting customer interactions and agreements.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Capacity to listen and engage with customers while processing transactions.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience as an Optician with a valid Florida License.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
