We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time LPN or RN to join our team at Wabash Center. As a nurse care specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality health services to individuals with disabilities or special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and monitor health services for each resident to meet their individual needs
  • Train residential and day program staff in medication administration using the State of Indiana mandated curriculum
  • Monitor medication administration and complete quarterly nursing assessments for each resident
  • Maintain medical charts to meet applicable regulations, including 90-day physician orders and documentation of needed and required evaluations and treatment provided by outside service providers
  • Provide and document annual Mantoux (TB) tests for consumers and staff
  • Provide a minimum of two CPR classes per month, with additional classes required at the request of Wabash Center Administration
