Sanitation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to join our culinary team at Air Culinaire Worldwide. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in our kitchen facilities.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, as well as excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that all equipment and surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and maintain a clean and organized dish area
• Mop floors and clean walls, ceilings, and windows
• Clean and sanitize all equipment, including ovens, stoves, refrigerators, and dishwashers
• Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
• Restock cleaning supplies and paper products
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role
• A strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
