Therapist for Women's Mental Health

The Modern Woman Health and Wellness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a Therapist for Women's Mental Health, you will play a vital role in helping our clients navigate life transitions, manage stress, and achieve mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to women of all ages, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough client assessments and evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including gynecologists and primary care physicians, to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed on the latest therapeutic practices and mental health care developments, participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC to practice therapy in the state of Connecticut.
  • Minimum of 3 years of therapy experience, focusing on women's mental health.
  • Strong understanding of issues affecting women's mental health, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathetic, patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work in-person or in a hybrid model.
