The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients of all ages. They will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care, including advanced diagnostic testing, therapeutic interventions, and patient education.

Scope of Work

  1. Implement and evaluate diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services.
  2. Participate in the education of patients, students, staff, and physicians.
  3. Provide technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care.
  4. Assist with general department functions.

Qualifications

  • Required Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
    • Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
    • Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire required.
