We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist to join our team at IU Health West Hospital in Avon, IN. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and contributing to the growth and development of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Admit patients to the inpatient or appropriate level of care
- Perform or supervise the performance of patient care services
- Collaborate with other attending physicians and consultants
- Work with and support Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) when assigned
- Take transfer center calls to accept referred patients
- Opportunity to teach medical students, if desired
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
- Visa sponsorship available for H-1B
