Your Role

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for assessing business processes and systems to identify needs and formulate data-driven strategies that influence decision-making. This position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, defining system specifications and objectives aligned with business requirements and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

· Gather and analyze business requirements and reporting needs through various techniques (e.g., interviews, document reviews, surveys).

· Convert business needs into system, data, and application specifications, focusing on effective solutions.

· Develop documentation such as system specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, and testing plans.

· Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, developers, and application owners to implement and configure solutions.

· Create and execute test plans to ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and application performance.

· Manage requirements traceability and modifications through established processes.

· Conduct analysis and design, focusing on efficiency and quality improvements.

· Support data management initiatives to uphold data integrity across systems.

· Identify opportunities for process enhancements and re-engineering to align with business strategies.

· Advise on best practices for new business and system implementations, ensuring integration with existing processes.

· Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including application vendors.

· Facilitate meetings and presentations, effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.

· Participate in discussions regarding system design and application architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.

· Contribute to strategic planning to align business analysis and data initiatives with overall objectives.

· Assist in evaluating new applications and technologies to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as information systems, computer science, or business analysis. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Experience

· 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or system implementation.

· Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate needs into technical requirements.

· Proficiency in requirements-gathering techniques and documentation.

Skills and Abilities

· Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, data visualization tools) is a plus.

· Knowledge of enterprise applications such as ERP or CRM systems.

· Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and business teams.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Effective project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Basic understanding of application integration principles.

· Adaptability to learn new technologies as required.
