CT Imaging Specialist

As a CT Technologist at Baptist Health Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate diagnosis of patients by performing interpretive, patient care, and technical functions. Under the direction of the department manager, you will be responsible for developing, initiating, and monitoring procedures for the effective utilization of the CT unit. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to function as the first line interface with customers, successfully accomplishing their imaging needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans and other related imaging procedures
Develop and implement procedures for effective CT unit utilization
Collaborate with customers to ensure their imaging needs are met
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and diagnostic accuracy
Requirements:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Graduate of an accredited, AMA-approved, school of Radiology Technology
Active certification in Radiology Technology (ARRT-R)
Active certification in CT (ARRT-CT) or obtain within 18 months of hire/transfer
Florida State License in Radiology Technology or confirmed temporary license
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through American Heart Association
Proficiency with major CT equipment manufacturers' hardware and software
Excellent communication and customer service skills
