Responsibilities- Assist Providers: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care, including assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatments.
- Basic Life Support: Perform basic life support in emergency situations, demonstrating maturity, self-confidence, and dependability.
- Patient Care: Provide personalized care and assistance to patients, following our organization's Mission, Vision, and Philosophy.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, utilizing excellent verbal and writing skills, including informing patients of lab or other test results, and prescription information.
- Lab Tests: Perform lab tests, following clinic and regulatory standards.
- Infection Control: Adhere to infection control procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, disposal of waste, and aseptic techniques.
- Customer Service: Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Education: Current New Mexico RN License.
- Knowledge and Skills: Ability to provide excellent patient care, articulate communication skills, good problem-solving skills, knowledge of computer keyboard operation, and BLS certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous physician clinic experience.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, long periods of bending, stooping, pushing, walking, and sitting. Some exposure to disease may occur. Overtime may be required.
