Job Summary:
Tephra is seeking a skilled Hadoop Developer-Digital to join our team. As a key member of our digital solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing distributed data processing pipelines using Spark, Hive, SQL, and other tools prevalent in the Hadoop ecosystem.

We are looking for a strong developer with experience around Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, and Hive. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Hadoop internals, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL development. Additionally, they should have experience with AWS components and services, particularly EMR and S3, as well as awareness of DevOps tools. A working experience in Agile framework is also required.

In this role, you will work closely with teams to resolve operational and performance issues, ensuring quality solutions are implemented and engineering best practices are defined and adhered to. You will also coordinate with offshore teams for project-related work and act as a technical lead for onsite teams.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $140,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
