About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team at The Arora Group. As a Dental Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing primary oral health care to patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients within prescribed policy and accreditation standards.
  • Assure strict sharps and instrument control through maintenance of prescribed logging and counts.
  • Observe radiation safety protocols and guidelines to ensure optimal patient and provider safety.
  • Assure optimum sterilization and/or disinfection procedures, including instrument processing and spore testing.
  • Refer patients to dental specialists through our managed care program when necessary.
  • Prescribe and dispense medication to patients as needed.
  • Assist with day-to-day technical oversight of dental auxiliary staff and provide input to local dental unit chiefs and supervisory authorities.
  • Serve as a resource to local facility staff on dental health issues.
  • Provide annual dental training to local medical staff.
  • Collect and organize accurate dental data and submit to the Regional Dental Consultant in a timely manner.
  • Attend monthly dental teleconferences and organizational meetings.
  • May be required to travel to provide dental care at other sites.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) program accredited by the American Dental Association.
  • One year of recent work experience in the United States as a licensed practicing dentist.
  • Experience in Oral Surgery is mandatory.
  • Hold and maintain a full, current, and unrestricted license to practice dentistry independently in the state where the duty station is located.
  • Maintain BLS for Healthcare Providers certification through the American Heart Association.
