Ascension St. John is seeking a dedicated OBGYN Physician to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

  • Assess and treat patients utilizing appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with case management.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
  • Accept referrals from other healthcare providers and serve as the admitting, attending, or consulting physician as necessary.
  • Engage in academic programs, including medical education and research, as requested.
  • Ensure accurate documentation that meets insurance requirements and manage appeals for any denials promptly.
  • Participate in both inpatient and outpatient consultations, which may include on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Required: Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision.
  • Preferred: Advanced Life Support certification.

Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) is required.
