Job Title: Residential Solar Installation Expert

Location: Onsite at our corporate offices in Allen, Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth area)

This is a full-time W-2 onsite opportunity, not a remote position.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Residential Solar Installation Expert to join our team at Sol-Ark. As a key member of our application engineering and tech support team, you will provide expert knowledge and guidance to our customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Support Technical Sales: Collaborate with sales and FAE teams to provide technical expertise and support for large projects.
  • System Design and Engineering: Design and engineer residential solar systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Product Development: Work with product teams to develop and improve solar products and services.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to internal teams, customers, and partners on solar products and technologies.
  • Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations, applying this knowledge to improve business operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality control and assurance in Sol-Ark products before shipment to customers.
  • Customer Support: Collaborate with technical support teams to address complex customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent Sol-Ark as a solar expert, presenting at industry events and contributing to industry publications.
Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, renewable energy, electronics design).
  • 5+ years of experience in residential solar energy or power electronics.
  • Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., NABCEP, CEE, CPE, CESCP).
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of power electronics topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC), solar systems, design, and installation.
  • Extensive knowledge of residential power conversion equipment, including installation and functional testing.
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing industry conditions.
