Job Summary

National Trench Safety is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up trench-related shoring equipment to and from customer job sites safely, timely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Deliver and pick up shoring and plates to and from job sites, ensuring accurate documentation and timely completion of tasks.
  • Occasionally load and unload trucks and trailers on customer job sites, and assemble and disassemble shoring equipment as needed.
  • Ensure all delivery documents are properly maintained and turned in as required, and maintain open communication with the branch for delivery schedules and any issues.
  • Adhere to all customers' safety requirements while at customer job sites, and may assist with yard operations, clean and prepare areas to eliminate possible hazards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years of direct experience driving vehicles that require a Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Current Class A Commercial Driver's License issued from the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
  • Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSR 49 CFR.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification as required.
