Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient hearing and recommend mechanisms to enhance their hearing ability.
  • Provide comprehensive assessments of patient needs, including OASIS assessments.
  • Establish and revise Speech Therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of interdisciplinary client care plans.
  • Communicate with other team members and instruct them in speech pathology techniques.
  • Teach, supervise, and counsel patients and their families in Speech Therapy programs.
  • Record and report patient progress and reactions to treatment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program or equivalent education.
  • Licensed in the State of Florida as a Speech Therapist.
  • Two years of clinical experience as a Speech Therapist.
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order and insured in accordance with the organization's requirements.
