Server Job Description

Fishtales Seafood Restaurant is seeking a skilled Server to join our team in Zebulon. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Seating: Welcome and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into our ordering system.
  • Menu Recommendations: Make menu item recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Food Allergy Notification: Communicate any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff to ensure safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately, and that food is of high quality.
  • Customer Service: Provide attentive service to guests, including refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals.
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly address any customer service issues and refer to management if necessary.
  • Cleaning Duties: Perform some cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen, and in the dining area.
