Substation Welder

The Substation Welder plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electrical equipment and systems for both existing and new facilities. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

• Develops and implements welding plans to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
• Maintains a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Constructs and repairs electrical equipment and systems, including low and high voltage components.
• Verifies the quality of welds and ensures compliance with industry standards.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including low and high voltage components.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
