Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a robust background in clinical nutrition to join our team at Integrated Resources. This role requires a dedicated professional who can provide exceptional dietary services in an acute care setting.

Work Schedule

The position involves a standard work schedule of 5x8s, with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Flexibility to float to different units as needed is essential.

Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care inpatient environment is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • Certifications: Candidates must possess a valid State License - RD and BLS certification.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Familiarity with typical diagnoses encountered in an acute care hospital setting, including but not limited to heart failure, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, stroke, trauma, oncology, renal failure, gastrointestinal issues, coronary artery disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and respiratory failure.
Clinical Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work across various units, including:

  • Medical ICU
  • Cardiovascular ICU
  • Neuro ICU
  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Progressive care units
  • Medical and surgical units
  • Rehabilitation unit
  • Orthopedic unit
  • Obstetrics
  • Neonatal ICU
Skills and Attributes

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Competence in conducting Nutrition Focused Physical Exams
  • Ability to identify characteristics of malnutrition
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational skills and focus on quality and accuracy over volume

This position will primarily involve working with adult and geriatric populations, with no responsibilities in pediatrics or neonatal ICU.
