Position Summary
Ebenezer Child Care Centers is in search of enthusiastic, imaginative, and innovative Early Childhood Educators for our esteemed programs.

We cater to children from infancy to school age within our highly-rated facilities. As a prominent non-profit provider of early education in Milwaukee County, we operate programs across various locations.

Utilizing our E.P.I.C. curriculum, educators foster independence, creativity, and a love for learning. Ideal candidates possess experience and education in early childhood development, are dedicated to meeting children's learning needs, and have a strong passion for teaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating a nurturing and secure environment for children.
  • Support teachers and directors in implementing engaging educational activities.
  • Observe and document children's interests and developmental progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding children's development.
  • Facilitate developmentally appropriate activities tailored to children's needs.

Qualifications

  • Completion of state-required training or willingness to obtain within the first six months.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Understanding of child development principles.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with children and families.
  • Positive, patient, and adaptable demeanor.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid or willingness to obtain.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Health screening and TB test clearance.
  • Genuine passion for working with children.
