Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain the performance of production equipment, identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
  • Operate machinery at optimal capacity, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Train and assist junior team members in equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Participate in cross-training programs to expand skills and knowledge of production processes.
  • Complete accurate and timely reports on production data, machine operational status, safety data, and quality data.
  • Collaborate with supervision to prioritize maintenance work orders and optimize equipment performance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and good housekeeping practices.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
  • Ability to learn and assist in mechanical setup, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Working knowledge of current production software and ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions.
