Job Overview

We are seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team in Winona, MN. The successful candidate will be responsible for directly participating in occupational therapy treatment interventions and services, in accordance with state practice guidelines. This position provides direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine requirements for skilled occupational therapy intervention relative to patient's prior level of function.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes and adhere to professional standards of practice.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide appropriate supervision for occupational therapy assistants in compliance with licensure, regulatory and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Collaborate with, coordinate, and participate in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A successful completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
