Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
  • BLS certified or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in a non-durable goods manufacturing healthcare environment.
  • Previous experience in patient education and advocacy.
