Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a leading manufacturer in the plastics sector, seeking to hire a proficient Electrical Maintenance Engineer promptly.
Location:
Barnsley
Working Hours:
Shift pattern includes days and nights - Panama shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns
- Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance personal and organizational performance
- Assist in the development and execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules
- Collaborate with other departments regarding equipment issues and modifications
- Work effectively within a team environment
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent)
- HNC and HND qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory
- Solid mechanical engineering knowledge and experience is preferred
- Willingness to work shifts
- Previous experience in fault finding is essential
- Manufacturing experience from an engineering perspective is desirable
- Familiarity with PLC systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in reading and spoken English are crucial
- A flexible and open-minded approach to adapt to the evolving needs of the business
