Job Summary:

The Pediatric Care Specialist provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role requires a high level of communication and teamwork to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform various tasks as competency documentation designates
Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange relevant information
Communication with external contacts involves providing or giving factual information

Requirements:

A minimum of a High School diploma, GED, Certificate of Completion or equivalent achievement
Patient care experience in a pediatric healthcare setting preferred
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or other healthcare related certification OR
One year of experience in a clinical setting, providing patient care OR
An external candidate enrolled in an approved BSN program OR
Current JHACH employee enrolled in either an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing Practice
Current AHA BLS Certification

Benefits:

Salary Range: Minimum 16.39 per hour - Maximum 25.31 per hour
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility
