At Whittier Health Network, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary

We offer a competitive salary range of $33.87 to $40.20 per hour for this full-time opportunity. With immediate openings available on all shifts, you will have the flexibility to create a schedule that suits your needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and be able to coordinate total nursing care for patients, participate in patient and family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with other nursing staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a graduate degree from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program in Massachusetts and hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the commonwealth. Additionally, you must have certification in BLS Healthcare CPR for adults, children, and infants.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate total nursing care for patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching, educating patients and their loved ones on disease management, medication use, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Provide leadership by working collaboratively with other nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team members to maintain high standards of professional nursing practice.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited LPN program in Massachusetts.
  • Current licensure as a LPN in Massachusetts.
  • Current certification in BLS Healthcare CPR for adults, children, and infants.
