Quality Assurance Coordinator

Crystal Stairs, Inc. is a leading provider of child care services and research in Los Angeles. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team.
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator at Crystal Stairs, you will be responsible for ensuring ongoing program contracts and grant compliance. You will work closely with senior management, C-suite staff, and funders to enhance compliance monitoring tools and procedures, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical/dental/vision insurance (95% covered by employer), 401k matching options, flex spending, pre-paid legal services, sick and vacation time, paid holidays, and opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of County, State, and Federal regulations required by contracts.
• Develop and maintain compliance monitoring work tools and procedures for programs and new contracts/grants.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly file review findings.
• Analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures while maintaining high accuracy.
• Implement new procedures and file review features to enhance workflow.
• Lead team in analyzing and identifying risks, issues, and controls, as well as root cause analysis and issue recommendations.
• Recruit, train, and hire staff, handle personnel issues, establish annual performance goals and objectives, and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with management to ensure programs remain compliance-ready and assist with external monitoring reviews.
• Participate in program work groups for cross-functional regulation review of changes to work.
Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S. degree in Business Management, Education, Public Administration, Child Development, Accounting, or Finance.
• Five or more years of internal audit, compliance, regulatory, or government grant monitoring experience.
• Three or more years of management and supervisory experience, preferably in non-profit or governmental environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity with relational database structures, and experience with complex accounting and reporting software.
• Knowledge of County, State, and Federal contract requirements, sampling methodologies, internal audit best practices, technology tools, and Child Care Licensing Regulations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and customer relations skills, with ability to effect change and provide excellent service.
