We're seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building, Energy, and Infrastructure (BEI) Group. If you're passionate about working at a company that will help you become the best you can be, we'd love to have you on board.

Responsibilities

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing technical and design services as part of a multi-discipline project team
  • Generating electrical design/construction drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD software
  • Observing electrical construction progress on projects
  • Preparing design computations and assessments, performing technical evaluations, and preparing technical reports and correspondence
  • Communicating and coordinating with project managers, senior engineers, and other design team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical focus from an ABET-accredited university
  • 2-4 years of documented applicable experience working on facilities similar to those described above
  • Strong organization, technical, and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively on a project team and maintain a high level of precision and accuracy
  • 2+ years of Autodesk REVIT experience gained in a similar design-related field
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, as well as Bluebeam
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) commensurate with their years of experience
What Will Make You Stand Out

We're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Having passed the FE/EIT examination, and working toward becoming a licensed Professional Engineer within a few years
