Role: Sourcing and Procurement Specialist
Location: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 6 months (Potential for extension or conversion)
As a key member of the Global Strategic Sourcing team, you will play a vital role in supporting a dynamic Enterprise Sourcing group that spearheads intricate, cross-functional strategic sourcing and contracting projects. Your focus will encompass various categories, including but not limited to IT Professional Services, Outsourced Services, Software, Banking Operations, and Financial Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster robust relationships with internal business stakeholders; gain a deep understanding of strategic business objectives, requirements, and priorities across designated suppliers and/or spend categories.
- Develop and uphold a thorough comprehension of policies and procedures concerning supplier selection, contracting, and ongoing management, ensuring compliance with all requirements throughout the entire process.
- Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive market analysis and benchmarking processes; utilize critical insights to guide and support business, category, and project strategies.
- Conduct financial analyses, including demand scenario modeling, P&L impact assessments, and benchmark comparisons.
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of sourcing initiatives throughout the complete sourcing and contracting lifecycle.
- Formulate and execute negotiation strategies for high-value, complex multi-year agreements.
- Oversee contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal and business functions to maximize overall value, including financial outcomes, service levels, and risk management.
- Manage essential supplier relationships with an emphasis on quality, service, delivery, risk, and cost efficiency.
- Provide support for cross-functional teams in developing and executing sourcing projects, supplier management strategies, and intricate contract negotiations.
- Evaluate risks in business decisions, demonstrating careful consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and team members.
