### Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time BSN Registered Nurse for our 4 West Unit at Nemours Pediatric Nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical surgical nursing and be able to work a casual schedule with 48 hours per six-week block, one 12-hour weekend shift per block, and two holidays per year.

### Unit Overview

4 West is a 24-bed limited-stay unit that cares for general medical surgical patients. The unit is equipped with state-of-the-art cardiorespiratory bedside monitors and computers that enable the healthcare team to access a patient's electronic medical record. The goal of the unit is to provide high-quality, high-value patient care within a 72-hour time frame.

### Job Responsibilities

* Assess, plan, provide, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients
* Implement the patient care delivery model for patients and their families
* Participate in family-centered care rounds to ensure an interprofessional approach and partnership with patients and families
* Use barcoding medication administration to ensure patient safety
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care

### Requirements

* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Strong background in medical surgical nursing
* Ability to work a casual schedule with 48 hours per six-week block, one 12-hour weekend shift per block, and two holidays per year
