Extended School Year Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program in the Kingston, MA area.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated SLP-CCC to make a difference in the lives of students. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility for licensure.

The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students in the ESY program, conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions. They will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support student progress.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in the ESY program
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to meet the needs of students
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

The program offers a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications, providing a salary range of $85,000-$115,000 per year. The schedule includes 15 weeks of work, with sessions held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 AM to 1:45 PM.
