Restaurant Team Member Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Team Member to join our team at Whataburger. As a key member of our restaurant staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing payments, and maintaining the overall quality of our restaurant services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and accurate service to customers
  • Prepare and deliver food products following quality standards
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure all shifts are covered and communicate issues to the shift leader or supervisor
  • Operate Point of Sale cashiering system and handle payments
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the work environment

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Food Handlers Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or customer-facing role
