Crisis Team Manager Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Team Manager to join our team at Grand Lake Mental Health Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, synchronizing, and managing the crisis care and stabilization of clients on the crisis unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to emergency crisis calls from or with regard to clients, providing crisis intervention, counseling, or referral to appropriate agency based on client needs.
  • Team Management: Provide daily oversight to all assigned team members, including coordination, planning, and delegation of work to assist individuals/families.
  • Documentation: Complete collaborative documentation of services in a thorough, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Training and Development: Ensure assigned crisis team maintain respective credentials/certifications and participate in required training.
  • Supervision: Regular attendance and participation in required training, as well as regular and consistent supervision with Clinical Director of Crisis Services.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in a behavioral health field.
  • Licensure: Actively and regularly receiving board-approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if boards' supervision requirement is met but the individual is not yet licensed.
  • Certifications: Maintain licensure and/or board-approved supervision requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Travel: Willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position.
