Job Summary:The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety. This is a travel position, and you will have the opportunity to work in various locations and gain valuable experience in different healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
- Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to healthcare team members
- Administer medications as ordered and document patient information
- Transport patients as needed and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team
- At least 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Graduate from an accredited school of radiologic technology
- Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
- Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, and push, bend, and pull
